of Ann Arbor, age 82 died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Residence of Arbor Hospice. She was born June 27, 1932 in Jackson, MI, the daughter of Paul F. and Florence G. (Boyd) Denton.
Patty moved to Dexter with her family in 1940. While going to school there she participated in sports (she loved basketball) and graduated in 1950. Then in later years she lived in Chelsea and Ann Arbor. Patty worked for Key Bank, Ann Arbor Commerce, and Michigan Visiting Nurses Association. She attended Chelsea Christian Fellowship when she was young, and attended Grace Bible Church in Ann Arbor for many years.
Patricia is survived by a sister, Werdna “Polly” Basler and a brother; Paul G. Denton, both of Ann Arbor; and several nieces and nephews in the area, Charlie, Paula, Laura & Tommy Denton, Randy & Jimmy Scherdt, and Judy Pherson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 3, 1:00 pm at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, with Rev. Tyson Lemke officiating. The family received friends Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Burial took place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Chelsea.
