of Lyndon Township, MI, age 51, died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Billings, Montana. Mike was born September 7, 1964 in Oak Lawn, Illinois, the son of Richard Adam & Betty Lee (Kern) Jankuski. Michael was a 1982 graduate of Chelsea High School. Michael was a huge fan of the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers sports teams. Mike was also a huge cat lover. Mike had just relocated to Montana, near his sister and brother to begin a new chapter in his life after the loss of his father in February. He was extremely excited to spend time with his nieces and nephews and was looking forward to the upcoming July 4th holiday family gathering. A life gone too quickly, he was greatly loved and will be missed terribly.
He is survived by his brother, Doug (Beth) Jankuski of Colorado; his sister Tammy Lake of Montana, his nephews Corey Graen, Adam Lake, Dillon Thomas; and his nieces Kira Pewonka, Kayla Rushing, and Nadine Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, an aunt and uncle.
A graveside service, for both he and his father Richard, will be held at St. Casimir Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois on September 16, 2016.
