Eva Jeanette (Snay) Kircher

of Ann Arbor, Michigan, age 92, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 30, 2023, at her home in Ann Arbor. She was born November 30, 1931, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of William & Elizabeth Lavina (Montague) Snay.

Eva worked with Hospice & Home Health of Washtenaw, retiring in 1996. Eva lived at Portage Lake, Munith (Jackson County) for many years and has lived in Ann Arbor since 2000.

Carlos Gray-Lion

Carlos Ishmael Gray-Lion was born in Detroit on December 4, 1941. He passed away in Ann Arbor on December 18, 2023.

His parents Paul and Patricia Gray-Lion raised him in the ways and teachings of the Blue Clan of the Cherokee Nation. He was always eager to share this culture and philosophy and was an active participant in the Native American Student Association in college.

He was a proud music graduate of Cass Technical High School in Detroit. He attended The University of Michigan in both the School of Music and Engineering College. He held a variety of jobs in music and electronics and always found a way to incorporate his love of teaching in both fields. He co-founded Doya Video Systems in 1983 with Joanne Ladio who became his partner in life as well as in business. The last 17 years of his life were spent battling the effects of a major stroke and his efforts toward recovery proved his strength of mind.

Charles King

of Manchester, Michigan, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 16, 2023, in Morehead City, North Carolina.

He was born on July 31, 1941, in Harlan, Kentucky, the son of John & Ethel (Hodge) King.

Chuck owned Bakers Dozen Bakery of Manchester, Michigan, for 25 years and then was head pastry chef for the University of Michigan until he retired.

Kenneth Fultz

of Chelsea, Michigan, formerly of Scio Township, Dexter, and Holmdel, New Jersey, age 97, died Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the Chelsea Retirement Community. He was born October 5, 1926, in Lenora, Kansas, the son of Charles August and Margaret Ethel (Everetts) Fultz.

Kenneth graduated from Atchins County Community High School in 1943, then the Kansas State University, where he earned his Electrical Engineering Degree. He went on to receive his Master's Degree from Kansas State University. Kenneth was an Electrical Engineer with ATT Bell Laboratories for 42 years (1952-1994). He was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 - 1946. He enjoyed reading, playing chess with Audrey, tinkering around his home, and loved working in the yard and landscaping.

Edrea Griffiths

Edrea Frances Griffiths of Dexter, Michigan, age 82, died December 18, 2023, at Hillside Terrace. She was born July 29, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of John Raymond and Edrea Frances (Lyman) Scudder.  Edrea will be remembered for her dedication to the youth of Dexter; she taught second, third, and fourth grade at Bates Elementary from 1967 to 1997, touching young lives across two generations. She continued as a volunteer in the Cornerstone Elementary library for another 20 years after her retirement. Edrea had a wonderful ability to remember her students when meeting them again later in life.
